The temple was renovated and again pratistha took place in VS 1984 by the shravaks of Patan. They took the charge of temple renovation in VS 1938. Pooja is held every morning at 10.00 am. |

History of moolnayak idol is very ancient. Specification is made about this idol to be one of the three idols established by Shri Ashadhi Shravak in ancient period. It is specified that Shri Devchandrasuriji of Nagendra Gatchh has established the parikar of Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan at Charup in 9th century of VS. Specification of Shri Adinath Bhagwan temple build by businessman Shri Devchandra from Nagor in 13th century of VS is also available. Another temple of Shri Adinath Bhagwan was built by shreshthi Shri Pethad Shah in VS 1320.This teerth is specified in the "Vividh Teerth Kalp" written by Shri Jinprabhusuriji in VS 1389. Acharya Shri Tilaksuriji has also decrypted this teerth in his "Chaitya Paripati written in 14th century. During this century Shri Jayshekharsuriji have also specified this teerth place. In the same manner this teerth is specified by Shri Keertimerusuriji in his "Shashwat Teerthmala" in 15th VS century, Shri Shanti Kushalsuriji in "Godi Parshwastavan" during 17th VS century, Shri Megh Vijayji Upadhyay in "Shri Parshwanath Nam Mala" & Shri Sheel Vijayji in "Teerth Mala" during 18th VS century. In the later stage this teerth remain in control of non-Jainies. Jain shravak of Patan took charge of the temple in VS 1938 and established the temple on Jyeshtha Shukla 5 of VS 1984 after its renovation. |
