Shwetambar mandir was established in Vikram Sabvat 1904 & Digambar mandir in Vikram Samvat 549.

Jain Teerth :

Situated in Kampilpur village. Huge gathering ( mela) is organised every year on 6th day of Poush Shukla in Shwetambar temple and during Chaitra Krishna Amavashya & Chaitra Shukla Tritiya and on Asoj Krishna dwitiya (II) in Digambar Temple.

Speciality of Jain Teerth :

This holy place has importance of being the place of 4 Kalyanak [ Chyavan, Janm ( birth), Deeksha & Kevalgyan ]of 13th teerthankar Devadhidev Shri Vimalnath Bhagwan. Ikshvaku Vanshi king Shri Padmanabh also came from this place, which attained Kevalgyan after taking deeksha in the period of 20th teerthankar Shri Munisuvratswami. It was the capitol of King Drupad during the period of 22nd teerthankar Shri Neminath Bhagwan, the daughter of whom, Draupadi, got married to greater Pandvas. She achieved Devgati on Shetrunjay teerth after getting Deeksha.

Historical Details :

This was also known as Kampilya, Bhogpur and Makandi etc. in the ancient time. It was the important city of one of the 52 janpad divided by Bhagwan Shri Adinath, the Panchal janpad. The boundary of this city was said to be of 20 miles. Shri Saubhagyavijayji has described this place as Pitiyari in 18th century. In old findings archeologists has recovered many Jin temples. This city has credit of being the birthplace of 10th Chakravarti Samrat Shri Harishen. Digambarachary Shri Ravisenji has described that Chakravarti King Harishen had established many Jin idols in his country.

Management Dharamshala :

Two dharmashalas each managed by Shwetambar as well as Digambar trusts. Shwetambar dharmashala is situated in the mandir campus having 15 rooms and three big halls with all modern facility. Bhojanshala arrangement is looked after by the munimji of the trust.
