This holy area is said to establish from the period of seventh teerthankar Shri Suparshwanath Bhagwan. Praising the hard prayers (tapasya) of two munis- namely Dharmaruchi & Dharmghosh, Kubera Devi appeared before them and asking their demands. Those don’t have any and hence Devi herself constructed a stoop (pillar) placing artistic & beautiful idol of moolnayak Shri Suparshwanath surrounded by different idols in every corner. The pooja timing is between 6.30 am to 7.30 am in Siddh kshetr Chourasi. Shri Suparshwanath Bhagwan Shwetambar Jain mandir is based in Ghiyamandi. The footprints of Antim Kevali Shri Jambuswamiji, recovered as per the indications given to a Jain shravak in nightmare and established in the temple. Agra Shwetambar Jain Pedhi manages this. |

Dharmaruchi & Dharmghosh, the muni-twins came to Bhootraman garden of Mathura and started mediations. Praising their hard prayers adhisthayika Devi of the garden, Kubera Devi appeared before them and asked their demands. They don’t have any demands and hence Devi herself constructed a stoop (pillar) placing artistic & beautiful idol of moolnayak Shri Suparshwanath surrounded by different idols in every corner. Bricks hid this stoop during the period of Shri Suparshwanath Bhagwan, as the bad period was approaching very fast. It was called as Bodh Stoop in Kushan period. It was the capitol city of Yadav king Shri Ugrasen. Shri Krishna born in a jail. Later he defeated Kans in Mallayuddh. Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan and Shri Mahaveer Bhagwan made it an honorable place with their visits. Pattadhar of Bhagwan Mahaveer and Antim Kevali Shri Jambuswami attained Moksha while meditating at this holy place. |

This holy area is said to establish from the period of seventh teerthankar Shri Suparshwanath Bhagwan. It was famous as Madhupuri, Madhura, Madhulika and Indrapur in old days. A huge golden pillar containing many gems was build by Devtas here. As per the script available in "Brhat Kalpsutra" the stoop (pillar) was hidden with brick walls and a temple was erected near it during the period of Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan. Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan and Shri Mahaveer Bhagwan made it an honorable place with their visits. Pattadhar of Bhagwan Mahaveer and Antim Kevali Shri Jambuswami attained Moksha while meditating at this holy place. Shri Bappabhatt Surishwarji performed reclamation of the Dev made Stoop (pillar) in 8th century of VS. |
