Historical Details :

One metallic idol among all has inscriptions of samvat 1285, mentioned about the origin of Jamankeey Gatchh. As per a myth, Mantri Shri Jaitrasingh s/o Mantri Shri Vastupal has established this city giving his wife's name to it. Shri Vastupal was born around VS 1240-42; hence the conclusion is made about the establishment of this city to be taken place in 13th century of VS. Fresh pratishtha of the temple took place on 10th day of Vaisakh Shukla of VS 1964 after its re-establishment. The parikar of moolnayak idol brought from Rantej, is present having marking mentioning Vaisakh Krishna 11 of VS 1126 on its gaadi.
