The idol is Padmasanastha having Jata. The art design is the most important point of attraction. Teerthyatris feels himself so near to Prabhu after getting opportunity to see this idol. Presently this Temple is the property of Indian Government maintained by the Archeological department.

Jain Teerth :

This teerthkshetra is said to establish during the period of 22nd Teerthankar Shri Neminath Bhagwan. After getting informatics knowledge from Acharya Shri Vijayvallabh Surishwarji about the location of this, Muni Shri Jinvijayji has discovered this teerth. Every year a huge mela is organised during the period of Falgun Shukla Tryodashi to Poornima.

Speciality of Jain Teerth :

This holy place has respect in all senses because King Susharmchandra builds this during the period of holy teerthankar Neminath Bhagwan. In ancient period, it was the wealthiest Jain teerth among all the holy places. Katouchh Rajvansh has managed this holy place for decades. It has vanished for a long period and after getting information about this holy place in the holy book "Vigyapti Triveni" written by Shri Jaysagar Upadhyayji in 1484 Aacharya Shri Vijayvallabh Surishwarji directed his follower Muni Shri Jinvijayji, who has discovered it. And it was after this incidence, yatra Sanghas started visiting this holy teerth, probably from 1947.

This holy teerth is in a cage based on top of the hill present at the bank of two holy rivers viz. Ravi and Satlaj.

Historical Details :

This holy place has a long historical background. It is built in the period of Teerthankar Shri Neminath Bhagwan, the 22nd of the current Chouvisi. In the ancient period, it is said that this holy place was known by the name of Susharmpur. King Susharmchandra has attacked Virat Nagar on behalf of King Duryodhan and defeated. After defeat he has built this holy place on his own name and established the idol of Bhagwan Shri Adinath in the temple. In many other records this place has been mentioned by the name of Bhimkot or Bhimnagar. It is mentioned as 'Angadak Durg' in "Vigyapti Triveni"- written by Shri Jaysagar Upadhyay in 1484. As per the old records 4/5 temples has been built here but presently only this temple is located. It is said that remaining would have damaged or vanished.
