Speciality of Jain Teerth :

Jain Dharmgranth (Updesh Saptati) has a story related to this teerth. Shri Pasil, son of Shri Gogamantri used to stay in this city. Unfortunately, he became very poor. Once upon a time, he went to Patan city for business purpose. He visited Rajvihar temple there. After taking darshan he was watching temple very closely. Looking at his poor appearance a rich Shravika laughed and taunted at him that whether he wants to build similar temple? Politely he answered to the Shravika that this greate work is beyond his reach. At the same time he told her that if he builds a temple, then she will have to come for the inaugural function. He started worshipping Shri Ambika Devi for this purpose. Devi pleased with his meditations and appeared before him and gave blessing of one of his metal mine to become mine of silver. After this, Pasil started building a huge and beautiful temple of Bhagwan Neminath in the dense forest of Arasana. As the building work was in progress, Guru Maharaj passed through this place. He asked about the progress of the work, Pasil politely answered and thanked great guru and Dev for the completion of the work. Listening his answers Devi got annoyed and the temple building work stopped at the Shikhar point. Pasil invited Guru Maharaj and Hansi Shravika from Patan. Acharya Shri Vadidevsuriji has performed pratishtha of temple with a huge celebration. Acclimated Hansi shravika got permission from Pasil and constructed huge Meghnath Mandap investing about 9 lacks Rupees.
