Shri Mahaveer Bhagwan; Swet Varn, Padmasanastha. The idols having markings of the period of Gupta rulings, can only be seen here. These idols have been brought from Vasantgarh after its destruction. Those are make of seventh or eighth century. Two metallic idols in Kayotsarg mudra are kept in the main mandap, one of which has markings of Samvat 744. |

The old name of this place is said to be Pindarvatak. It is mentioned on the wall of Navchowki of the temple, that father of Shri Dharana Shah, the founder of Ranakpur temple, Shri Kunwarpal and Mantrishwar Leeba has renovated this temple in Falgun Shukla Pratipada of 1465. Shri Dharana Shah alongwith his brother Shri Ratna Shah has completed the remaining work and established (performed pratistha) of an idol on 6th day of Margshirsh Shukla 1469. Samvat 1229 is mentioned on one of the idol in the temple, indiacating this temple to be of twelth century of Vikram Samvat. Flag is offered on every 6th day of Vaishakh Shukla. |
