The calm and beautifull idol of Shri Adishwar Bhagwan in Padmasan position of about 7 feet 1 inch (2.16 meter) in height is present as the Moolnayak.

This teerth was famous as Pundareek Giri in its old days. Much renovation works took place but the important sixteen renovations in this Avasarpini period are as follows:(1): By Shri Bharat Chakravarti, son of Shri Adishwar Bhagwan. (2): By King Shri Dandaveerya. (3): By Shri Ishanendra during the period of 1st & 2nd Teerthankars. (4): By Shri Mahendra Indra. (5): By Shri Indra of 5th Devlok. (6): By Shri Indra Chamarendra. (7): By Shri Sagar Chakravarti during the period of Shri Ajitnath Bhagwan. (8): By Shri Vyatarendra during the period of Shri Abhinandan Bhagwan. Speciality of Jain Teerth :

The teerth has eleven different parts called as Tunk. Small tunks have 3-4 temples while 10 temples on the big ones. Main temple of Prabhu Adinath on Adinath tunk is at a height of about 2000 feet, consisting of 3750 steps with plain route in between them. After climbing about 3 kms the path is bifurcated in two parts, one leading to the main temple and the other towards the Nav tunk temple. After entering in Hathipol; Rampol and Vaghapol comes first on the main temples route followed by Surajkund, Bheemkund & Ishwarkund. Name of the tunks are: (1) Shri Adinath Bhagwan tunk, (2) Motisha Tunk, (3) Balavasi, (4) Premvasi, (5) Hemvasi, (6) Ujambai ki Tunk, (7) Sakharvasi, (8) Chhepavasi, (9) Chaumukhji/ Savasom ki Tunk, (10) Khartarvasahi and (11) Dhanvasahi are present at the basement.
