According to Jain Shashtras, this teerth kshetra is an ancient one. Carvings of 11th centuries can be seen of the moolnayak idol. Shri Somsen Swamiji established the idol of Shri Chandraprabh Bhagwan in this temple during VS 1545. Temple was renovated during VS 1951. The annual function is organised every year from Falgun Shukla Trayodashi to Poornima. On Poornima, the Mandal Vidhaan is completed and Kalash Abhishek takes place with flying past of airplanes. |
