Shri Kareda Parshwanath Bhagwan, Shyam (blueish) vard in padmasan position.

The findings shows many signs of its stablishments, some shilalekh has mark of Vikram Sanvat 1303, 1341 & 1496 on them.

Jain Teerth :

The findings from this holy place says that foundation of teerth was laid by the chief secretary of Mandavgarh, Shri Pethadshah with the markings of Vikram Samvat 1303, 1341 & 1496 on them. But the ancient temple was founded by Acharya Shri Yashobhadrasurishwarji in Vikram Samvat 1039 and the ancient once are not in its origin having only the damaged structures of them remaining in the area. The double shikharband jinalaya cosisits of the beautifull idol of moolnayak on the East cost of huge Bhupalsagar jalashay. The janm kalyanak celebration is held on 10th day Poush Vad every year.

Speciality of Jain Teerth :

This temple is said to establish by scholar Acharya Bhattarak Shri Yashobhadra Surishwarji. Many amazing incidents relating to his life are famous. As per one of the saying he has established four temples at a time disguising himself in different identities. Great Akbar has also visited this place. The tilak ceremony of Sanghpati took place here at the time of the visit of Mantri Jhanjhad Shah, the son of Mahamantri Pethad Shah along with Acharya Shri Dharmaghose Surishwarji & many other Acharyas to worship lord Shri Parshwanath. Huge mela is organised every year on the Janm Kalyanak (Birth Anniversary) day of Prabhu i. e. Poush Krishna Dasami.

Historical Details :

The exact description of the establishment part of the teerth is not available. A stambh (pillar) has been found during the last renovation work was in progress. This ancient pillar has carvings of Samvat 55, and on this ground it can be distinguished that the teerth place would have been established much before King Vikram. Carvings having description of establishing the idol of Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan in VS 1039 by Bhattarak Acharya Shri Yashobhdra Surishwarji is also available. Some idols, present in the temple, have marks of carving belonging to VS 1303, 1341 & 1496. As per the Gurvavali, Mahamantri of Mandavgarh Shri Pethad Shah has built the temple of Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan. His son, Shri Jhanjhad Shah had also constructed a seven-storied temple during his visit to this place along with Shri Shatrunjay Giri Yatra Sangh, but that temple is not present today. The present temple is constructed in Samvat 1039. Prabhu idol has writing of VS 1656 on it indicates it to re-established at the time of renovation. Last renovation took place in VS 2033 and Acharya Shri Sushil Surishwarji on Magh Shukla 13 of VS 2033 performed the pratishtha of the old Prabhu idol.

56 kms from Chittourgarh, teerth place is situated in centre of Bhupalsagar village. The pilgrims has to travell on Chittourgarh-Udaipur road via Sovata mataji ki pandoli, NArela, Singpur, Chhota Nimbaheda, Kesharkhedi, Kapasan covering nearly 55 kms distance to reach this teerth. Other route Udaipur-Chittourgarh via Dabok-mavli, Fatehnagar is 68 kms long but the fluency of state buses is greater than the first one.
