Architecturally Dharanvihar temple of Ranakpur is the only temple of its kind in the world. Many historical events have been designed on the Shikhar, Gumbaj and terrace of the temple by the architects. Sahatrafana Parshwanath idol and the sahastrakut are very attarctive. The main importance of this temple is the stambhavali of 1444 stambh (pillars). These pillars doesn,t desturbs pilgrims in getting darshan of Shri Teerthadhiraj by any angle. This teerth is also known as Chaturmukh Prasad, Dharanvihar, Trelokyadeepak Prasad, Tribhuvan Vihar. |
