Jain Teerth :

Teerth is said to be established much before 15th VS century but remain unknown for many years. A farmer Ratna Kumbhar saw nightmare and got indication of many Jin idols to be present underground in his farms. After recovering them from his farms he handed over the idols to Jain Shravaks. They established these idols on Kartik poornima of VS 1920. Teerth became famous for its magicity and then a temple was built and the idols were shifted in it on Magh Shula Trayodashi of VS 1944.

Speciality of Jain Teerth :

This place remains a magical teerth from ancient time. Before the recovery of this underground idol, Vaghari people use to do ridiculous works living hard life. They became happy after shifting from this place. After this incident Ratna Kumbhar saw the nightmare in which he got indications about the underground idol. Priest of the temple claims seeing number of miracles with his naked eyes. Music of Nagada and other musical instruments have been heard on the occasions of Diwali and other religious festivals. Akhand jyot, reddish fogs are seen emerging from it, is lighted from last 86 years. Festival is organised every year on Falgun Shukla Ashtami.

Historical Details :

As per the description available in "Chaitya Paripati" written by Shri Jaysagarji Upadhyay during 15th century, this teerth is considered to establish long before 20th VNS century (15th of VS). During the 16th VS century shravaks from this place has build many Jain temples across the country. "Teerth Mala" written during 17th Vs century has also described this place. This teerth remain unknown (vanished) for quite long period after this. A farmer Ratna Kumbhar saw nightmare and got indication of many Jin idols to be present underground in his farms on Vaisakh poornima 0f VS 1919 (VNS 2388). After recovering them from his farms he handed over the idols to Jain Shravaks. They established these idols on Kartik poornima of VS 1920. New temple was constructed and the moolnayak idol was established in it on Magh Shukla Trayodashi of VS 1944 (VNS 2413).
